What is the thought field?
It is everybody's experience to verify
that a thought is linked to other thoughts in a kind of network thus
making it possible to access a number of other thoughts not present
at the moment in the field of consciousness but related to the
initial one in some aspects. Thinking specifically of a problem is
akin to loading a file in the RAM of the computer: a small part is
visible on the screen and the rest being connected may appear with
the click of a mouse. Focusing on a problem and all its possible
links has been called by
Dr Callahan
"attuning to a thought
field".
Think of a bad experience you may have had and let the emotions tied
to it come to the surface: that it may be anger, sadness, shame or
otherwise is what may disturb or handicap you. You
can evaluate it on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is no trace of the
problem and 10 is the emotion at its maximum. To give subjective
measurements on this scale is commonly called giving a
SUD (SUD standing for Subjective Units of Distress).
Dr Callahan
theorizes
that when thinking of any given problem, getting
attuned to the relevant
thought
field of this problem,
hidden
perturbations
will be activated causing physiological and emotional
changes that express themselves under the form of anxiety, panic,
distress, depression etc.
He then discovered that a therapeutic sequence through tapping and
stimulation of acupuncture points could be elicited, that
would send energy (coded information) through
the acupuncture meridians to the thought field, erasing the
perturbations and
giving instant and durable results in such disorders as phobias or
ancient traumas.
For Dr Callahan, perturbations
in the thought
field, caused by ancient traumas or toxins, can
be removed by proper activation
of energy on the meridians. Thus,
tapping on acupuncture points in the elicited
sequence will then have a therapeutic effect on the symptoms
associated to the problem.
This process of
stimulating the energy points by the person concerned while attuning
to the problem's thought field
permits a healing that is faster and more efficient than any
treatment known to this day.
The same sequence
administered while thinking of something other than the problem, or
in a disorganised or random way, yields no results.
Depending on the complexity of the
case, different levels of TFT can be offered corresponding to the
energy coach's degree of training in the Callahan Techniques:
algorithms,
Dx
or
VT.
The specific sequence elicited by
the energy coach is the basis of a procedure called a
"holon" that is
self-administered by the client.
After the completion of each holon the
condition of the person typically improves dramatically, and there
is a continual feedback by way of scaling the SUD which permits the
monitoring of the subject's condition through his own evaluation.
For simple cases
such as traumas or phobias it is not rare that just a few sessions
are required, and in many cases the subject feels completely treated
after just one!
Will the treatment last?
As
Dr Callahan
humorously says, this kind of question is never asked of doctors or
psychotherapists for the very obvious reason that no other treatment
gives such fast results.
Yes it will
last!
Yes you may
experience relapses!
Why?
It is quite often the case that a
certain condition is directly related to a traumatic experience, and
in such cases the self-administration of a TFT treatment is like
rubbing with an eraser: thinking of the problem the person just
feels all right, and may even experience
the apex syndrome which means denying
that the emotional condition associated with the problem ever
existed!
Since relapses do exist
Dr Callahan
wanted to know why, and this interrogation lead to another
discovery: the existence of
"Individual Energy Toxin" (IET).
Sometimes some
basic nutriments such as corn, milk, wheat, sugar etc. have a toxic
effect on a subject and can undo the benefit of a treatment, causing
the relapse.
This is why we
always ask clients to keep a log of what they have been eating so
that in case of a relapse we can pinpoint the kind of food
responsible. In complex and difficult cases the subject has to avoid
many different foods, usually for a period of four months.
Most toxic foods
are the preferred foods of the subject who seemed addicted to them.
This is considered
as part of the subject's problem and should be adressed by TFT as an
addiction.
The measurement of HRV
may
demonstrate a
food's toxicity.
Avoidance of a food
doesn't mean reducing the amount of that food eaten: it means "Zero
Tolerance", a complete severance from that food.
At
the International Institute for
Self-help Holistic Therapies
our Energy Coaches are trained in VT (Voice
Technology), and not only can they
elicit through the voice the healing holons, they can also detect
with great precision which food is toxic |
